  1. The program application – A set of files that need to be installed on your PC; and

  2. The ‘brains’ – A set of programs that drive the software. These files can either be installed on the server that hosts your website (Server Installation) or accessed directly from the ActiveHelp Pro secure server network (Hosted Installation).
The advantages of hosting ActiveHelp Pro from our servers are numerous, as they include giving you total control over proprietary data and eliminate the need for you to get involved technically. You simply install a few small files on your PC and we do the rest. From the initial setup to ongoing maintenance and operations, ActiveHelp Pro’s Hosted Installation is fully supported any time of day or night.
